Last updated: 6 August 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Vidhvath websites and applications (the “Services”). By using the Services you agree to these Terms.
The Services
Vidhvath provides AI-assisted exploration of Hindu scripture and related spiritual practices, including features such as Ask, Daily Dharma, reflection journaling, scripture browsing, and subscription tiers (for example seeker, devotee, family, and acharya offerings as described in-product).
Spiritual guidance — important disclaimer
Content generated or surfaced by Vidhvath—including verses, interpretations, practices, and conversational answers—is offered for personal reflection and educational purposes. It is not medical, psychological, legal, financial, or professional advice, and it is not a substitute for qualified teachers, clinicians, or counsellors. You remain responsible for how you apply any guidance in your life.
Accounts
You must provide accurate registration details and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We use third-party authentication (Clerk) to help manage sign-in.
Subscriptions and payments
Paid plans renew according to the billing cycle shown at purchase unless cancelled in accordance with our Cancellation & Refund policy. Prices and plan features may change with notice where required. Taxes may apply.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Misuse the Services, attempt unauthorised access, or disrupt systems
- Use the Services to harm others, infringe rights, or violate law
- Scrape, reverse engineer, or resell the Services except as allowed by law
- Rely on AI outputs as authoritative professional advice
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or to protect the Services and users.
Intellectual property
Vidhvath branding, software, and original materials are owned by us or our licensors. Scripture texts may be subject to their own licences and traditions of transmission; display within the product does not transfer ownership of third-party works to you.
Availability
We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may evolve over time.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vidhvath is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Services. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Services is limited to the amounts you paid us for the Services in the twelve months before the claim (or, if greater protection is required by mandatory law, that mandatory standard).
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Vidhvath against claims arising from your misuse of the Services or violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence provide otherwise.
Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance, except where local law requires additional consent.
